Experience flight like never before with Teton Hang Gliding! Using a powered hang glider ("trike"), we can cruise low over the rivers and high over the mountains. Conveniently located in Driggs, Idaho, we are only 15 miles from the peak of Grand Teton, and just a few minutes from some of the most scenic flying in the world.

20 minute intro flight - $195

After a quick introduction to the aircraft and flight brief on the ground, you and your instructor will depart for a 20 minute flight around Teton Valley and the surrounding mountains.

40 minute intro flight - $295

Double the flight time, you will have more time to explore the rivers and mountains around Teton Valley. We recommend you schedule your Grand Flight early in the morning, as the smooth air often allows us to climb up to over 12,000 feet and fly along the western side of the Grand Teton. You will be rewarded with unparalleled views of the Cathedral Group, Alaska Basin, remote glaciers and alpine lakes.

All flights are by reservation only. Please call or email us to book your flights. We operate 7 days a week, and typically fly in the smooth morning air. If you are visiting the area please consider booking your flights early in your trip so we have an opportunity to reschedule in case of unfavorable weather.

Your interactive flight lesson starts with a brief ground school where you will learn the basics of flying the trike. A trike offers the best combination of flying experience and convenience. Utilizing a simple weight shift control wing (hang glider) with a powered buggy, a trike offers the speed and capability of powered flight while maintaining the open cockpit experience and simplicity of hang gliding.

The trike is piloted by an experienced, FAA certified flight instructor. We can take a wide range of ages and abilities. The flying is effortless, as we takeoff and land on wheels from the runway, and fly in a comfortable seated position. Once in the air, you will be guided along the Teton Valley and around Teton Canyon, where you will have unrestricted views of the Caribou-Targhee National Forest, Alaska Basin, and the majestic Cathedral Group in the Teton Range.

There is absolutely no experience necessary. Every flight is a lesson, and you can even log the time as flight instruction towards a pilot license. You will have the opportunity to fly the trike with the guidance of our flight instructors, or just sit back and enjoy the views. Our goal is for everyone to leave knowing more about aviation and more about flying weight shift controlled aircraft, all while having an amazing and unique experience in the Teton Mountains!
